Mr. Nguyen Van Trac's house, also known as 'Muoi Trac's house,' is located in Hamlet 6, Hung Le Commune, Giong Trom District, Ben Tre Province, approximately 20km from Ben Tre city. This house was recognized as a national revolutionary historical relic by the Ministry of Culture and Information on May 7th, 1997. It served as the residence and workplace of comrade Le Duan (Secretary of the Southern Regional Party Committee) from November 1955 to March 1956, during a critical and intense period of the revolution in the South, as the region was entering a new, challenging phase. Comrade Le Duan was tasked directly by the Central Party to study the revolutionary situation in the South and outline a strategy to defeat the American-backed regime of Ngo Dinh Diem. Despite many difficulties and hardships, he drafted the 'Outline of the Southern Revolution,' charting the path to defeat the American-Diem regime and liberate and reunify the country.

The house, surrounded by coconut trees, was strategically built for easy escape in case of danger. It is constructed in the architectural style of the Xuyen Trinh region, with three main sections and two side wings, tiled roof, brick floor, and wooden walls and columns. The house has 42 wooden columns made from precious wood, intricately carved and joined together. The interior is adorned with intricately decorated columns and beams, painted in red and gold, with the main area dedicated to worship. Notably, Mr. Muoi Trac constructed a secret chamber specifically for comrade Le Duan's residence and work. Inside this chamber, there was a closet connected to a secret underground bunker. Some officials were stationed outside, while Mr. Muoi Trac's family, including his wife and children, took care of those inside. His family ensured comrade Le Duan's safety during his activities here. After April 30th, 1975, comrade Le Duan visited Mr. Nguyen Van Trac's family to express gratitude, and as a gesture of reciprocity, he helped the family rebuild their house. Today, only some parts of the original house and a few preserved artifacts remain as mementos. On August 31st, 2019, the historical site was restored to its original state, replicating the old house where comrade Le Duan lived and worked, and was completed on March 25th, 2020.
