Phu Le Communal House was recognized as a National Architectural and Artistic Monument in 1993 and is considered one of the typical communal houses on Bao Island, "First Phu Cuong, second Phu Le". The communal house is not only reknown for its large scale and majestic architecture, but also for the decorative art sculptures inside and the surrounding landscape of the communal house. On April 14, 1896, Mr. Le Van Sung donated land to build a communal house. At this time, the communal house was simply built with a leaf roof, tree pillars and plank walls. In 1923, the communal house was built more spaciously thanks to the mobilization of 12 gathered people. The communal house at that time had 10 rooms: 6 main rooms with attached roofs and 4 auxiliary rooms.Năm 1945, In 1945, due to the war, the gathering and the Celebration Committee mobilized the people to dismantle and move all structures, wooden columns, and utensils in the communal house, soak them in the yard and take them out to the forest to hide them. . This is one of the unique works of art and architecture with high value highlighted through techniques of embossment, filigree, horizontal panels, parallel tureens, silver flanks, rolled leaves... This is the result of extremely meticulous work of a group of procession workers from the Central region who gets the skilled and highly artistic, the main material is wood, dowel structure, closely combined with the sculptural art of the artisans. Each year, Phu Le communal house organizes the Ky Yen festival in the third lunar month and Cau Bong holiday in the 11th lunar month. Recently, Phu Le communal house still retains the sacred spirit from the reign of King Tu Duc (1852) given to the communal house.
