The Memorial Temple of Veteran Nguyen Ngoc Thang is situated adjacent to Provincial Road 885, about 600 meters from My Long market. It is constructed in the Southern architectural style, featuring a main chamber and an auxiliary chamber. The walls of the main chamber are made of bricks with a tiled floor, and in the central sanctuary, there is a picture and the altar of Veteran Nguyen Ngoc Thang. At the time of his passing, he was posthumously honored with ceremonial attire: robes, a headdress, and a sword, which were worshipped by his family for some time. However, due to the ravages of war, these artifacts were damaged and lost, leaving only his earthen grave.

This historical site was classified as a national historical-cultural relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 1997. Every year on the 15th of May (lunar calendar), a solemn memorial ceremony is held at the My Thanh Communal Temple in Giong Trom district, Ben Tre province, attended by the local people and authorities to honor the memory of Veteran Nguyen Ngoc Thang.
