Dune land - heaven and earth nourishes trees, gives birth to fish and nurtures children on it. Con Doi in Phu Ninh hamlet, Phu Duc commune, Chau Thanh district, Ben Tre province is a typical example, a place to nurture rambutan trees so that this country was once famous for its vast rambutan gardens.

Miss Chin's dried rambutan jam (named after Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hong's mother) is a product researched and created by Ms. Hong with the enthusiasm and excitement of a native of the land. Homeland to her are red ripe rambutan gardens. But because the harvest from the rambutan garden is not high, when the harvest is good, the price loses, and for many other reasons, forcing farmers to change crops trees, then each rambutan garden was cut down, including the gardens that were as old as their father and mother, so that from the fruit of childhood, the sweet fruit could grow forever in the homeland. From there, Ms. Chin's dried rambutan jam was born.

There are two types of rambutan jam: The type with seeds and the type without seeds. The type with fatty, crunchy seeds. High quality grain separator, easy to use, suitable for adults and children. There are 3 flavors: sweet and sour, spicy and licorice.

It is an OCOP product without preservatives, without using chemicals, ensuring food hygiene and safety with the main ingredient being rambutan fruit on dune soil, in Ms. Hong's family, neighboring households, and on Phu Ninh hamlet, Phu Duc commune. Dried rambutan has a sweet, slightly sticky flavor of rambutan fruit combined with kumquat or pineapple, with licorice to create a delicious new jam.

Not only is it a childhood fruit, rambutan is also a fruit rich in nutritional value and good for health. There are great uses of rambutan fruit such as: Rich in vitamin C, increasing energy; Rich in minerals such as calcium and potassium that help improve bone strength; Helps remove waste from the kidneys, stabilize blood pressure, lose weight... Dried fruits have had almost all of their water content removed through drying methods. The fruit shrinks during the drying process, leaving behind a small, nutritious dried fruit. Accordingly, the preservation time compared to fresh fruit is longer and is considered a convenient snack, especially on long trips without a refrigerator to preserve and store.
