From May 22 to 31, 2024, Ben Tre Telecommunications coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and districts/cities in the province to organize the Smart Travel Portal Training program and Ben Tre Smart Tourism Application (Ben Tre Tourism) to guide how to operate, manage and exploit the application and use administrative features of the Smart Tourism Portal and Ben Tre Smart Tourism Application ( Ben Tre Tourism) to subjects such as: Department of Culture and Information, Center for Culture, Sports and Radio, Center for Culture, Sports, Radio and Tourism, District Community Digital Transformation Team/ city; Youth Unions of districts/cities, officers in charge of social and cultural affairs of communes/wards/towns, companies, units, businesses, households doing tourism service business in Ben Tre province ,…

Digital transformation in tourism activities is essential in the current period to serve the increasing needs of tourists, attracting tourists with convenience and modernity to bring necessary information closer. with visitors.

 

Up to now, the implementation of Phase 2 of the Provincial Science and Technology Project on "Application of 4.0 technology in developing smart tourism in Ben Tre province"  aimed at serving communication and promoting local tourism. Many new features have been added to domestic and foreign tourists.

Up to now, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ben Tre Telecommunications have deployed it in the districts of Mo Cay Nam, Mo Cay Bac, Thanh Phu, Binh Dai, Cho Lach, Giong Trom and Chau Thanh district. . The remaining two localities, Ba Tri district and Ben Tre city, are expected to be held on May 28, 2024.

Each locality has more than 30 students participating. The training content includes step-by-step instructions: 360-degree introduction on the Smart Travel application and Ben Tre Tourism App (bentretourism.vn), introduction of digital maps, automatic captions, rules for posting articles with censorship,... Most of the delegates participating in the training absorbed the content well and performed proficient access operations to features and categories.
