In the early days of April, we had the opportunity to visit Tan Quy hamlet, Tan My commune, Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province. Here, everyone was guided by Mr Nguyen Cong Khanh, an employee of Vam Ho Bird Sanctuary (Ben Tre), on a journey to immerse themselves in the natural scenery of the Western River region. Feel the cool breeze

 Feel the cool breeze

At exactly 7 a.m., we went down the Ba Lai River, feeling the coolness of the earth and sky and the sea breeze. Looking at the glittering rays of sunlight printed on the surface of the river, at that time the feeling was very strange. Where does the wind come from, the coconut forest rustles and whispers... The simplicity and rusticity of the river region are even more prominent.

After travelling for a while on the river, the boat stopped to let people experience crab hunting, snail catching, and mingling with the alluvial water in the early morning sun. After that, we experienced cork picking, watching storks flying, observing village life... Those who want thrills can try fishing.

Accompanying us, Ms Nguyen Thi Nhung (32 years old, living in Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City) said this was the first time she experienced river activities.
"What's better than sitting on a boat and feeling the cool breeze, listening to a couple of amateur folk songs, slowly fully feeling the very peaceful and simple river area," she said. Nhung confided..

Admire the mysterious, wild beauty

After enjoying fried pancakes without oil, and hot pot... we started to experience the Vam Ho bird sanctuary.
According to Mr Khanh, Vam Ho is the only bird sanctuary in Ben Tre province and also the closest bird sanctuary to Ho Chi Minh City. Depending on different months, storks will gather here, at times the forest is home to thousands of birds. Besides, its ecological diversity, Vam Ho also has many typical tree species of mangrove areas such as date palms, mangroves...

Nature here is very vast and diverse with an area of nearly 70 hectares (T.D)

Walking into the forest, we felt the greenery, heard the birds singing, the breath of the forest and enjoyed the fresh air.
Here, we can not only learn about the animal world but also see the mysterious, wild but no less romantic beauty of nature. Along with the tall branches of ancient bamboo trees growing across the path, creating a "magical" scene...

Ghostly Trees (LEE NHUNG)

“I find myself completely immersed in nature because the scenery is so wild. The trees here grow naturally, creating a poetic but equally magical scene. I think this place is an interesting attraction for people to visit on weekends or holidays," Mr. Tuan shared.TRAI NGHIEM MIEN TAY - 1242022 (13).jpg

Many young people come here because they are curious about the strangeness of the trees in the forest (LEE NHUNG)

The deeper we went into the forest, the more peaceful we felt. Of course, that feeling is great when you have just conquered something new with your efforts and feet. There is nothing more to describe my feelings at that time, I can only say... wonderful.
